This lovely villa with pool in Chianti of the early 19th century is located near Vagliagli, a small village 12 km from Siena. This holiday home consists of two self-catering apartments. On the ground floor is a two-roomed flat with a large living room, kitchen corner, 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. A vine covered veranda offers shade for meals. The other flat is on the first floor with an amazing double staircase entrance, typical of the noble villas of the past. It consists of a large living room with fireplace, a modern kitchen corner, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The owner lives in the same villa. The country house is surrounded by a large park with beautiful olive groves, an orchard and a lovely swimming pool (11x5, open middle May-Sept) with a gazebo where one can enjoy a drink under the shade. Pets accepted. Internet wi fi, barbecue and washing machine at guest’s disposal.
In the village (2min walk) one can find a food shop and a very good restaurant. This holiday home in Tuscany is in an excellent position for visiting the medieval villages on the Chianti Road, such as Radda in Chianti (10km), Gaiole in Chianti (16km), Castellina in Chianti (9km) and also Castelnuovo Berardenga (20km), as well as wine tasting in one of the many farmhouses along the road.
